The Scottish Police College is a centre of learning excellence providing formally recognised courses and programmes through:

• Credit rated course through the SCQF Framework
• Universities or professional bodies

Our aim is to offer a range of training, assessment, qualifications and professional development opportunities to enable students to develop their professional competence throughout their career and beyond.

Since 2007 it has been part of the Scottish Police Services Authority (SPSA). The College offers:

• Centralised police training to all eight Scottish Police forces in Scotland from recruits to command level
• Specialist police training for detectives and traffic officers
• Leadership and management courses for police and non-police organisations
• Conference and training facilities for police and non- police organisations
• Recreational and residential facilities.

The College is set in 90 acres of parkland in the centre of Scotland. At the heart of the campus is Tulliallan Castle built in the early 19th Century. It is the only central Police College in the UK which provides all the training elements in one establishment.
