International training

The College has an enviable reputation of working in partnership globally with other Police organisations, Government Departments, Universities and the Scottish Qualifications Authority in relation to the development and delivery of police training.

We have over the years offered Crime Management, Specialist Driver Training and Leadership and Management Training. The College will work with you on all, or part of, designing, developing, implementing and evaluating training programmes to meet your specific needs.

This unique approach has seen our International Development Unit being involved in a number of successful projects such as:

• Latvia – Delivered European Foundation Quality Management (EFQM) and Strategic Management Training.
• Maldives – Bespoke Senior Leadership and Management training programme delivered and an International policing qualification in Policing Leadership and Management Skills developed.
• Sri Lanka – Delivered a strategic level Community Safety training programme and development of an International Vocational Award in Community Policing.
• Abu Dhabi – Development of a new qualification in Crime Scene Investigation
