Central Scotland Police:   No further applications will be accepted until further notice.
Fife Constabulary:   Fife continues to accept applications at present but these are under an on-going review and could be subject to change at any time. Applicants should also be aware that, at present, they would be joining a recruitment 'pool' and it is impossible to say precisely how long they may have to wait for appointment.
Lothian & Borders Police:   No further applications will be accepted until further notice.
Tayside:   No further applications will be accepted until further notice.

All applications are thoroughly examined and a selection will be made at this point in the process, taking into account the overall skills and experience of the candidate. Those candidates chosen for further consideration are invited to Stage 2, The Assessment Centre, a 2 day event, held at the Scottish Police College.

Candidates should be prepared to be invited to an Assessment Centre within one month of submitting their application. 

New National Application Forms were introduced on 19 October 2009

Old style paper application forms will no longer be accepted and will be returned to candidates.

Applicants wishing to apply should now complete their application through e-recruitment.

All correspondence with the Recruitment Team will be by email.
It is known that with some recognised electronic mail providers, unless you save the corresponding senders details srs-no-reply@igrasp.com to your e-mail address book, our response will likely have to be recovered from your junk email folder.
