Salary scales from 1st September 2009 are as follows:

Pay Point  Salary
On commencing service  £22,680
On completion of initial training  £25,317
On completion of two years service  £26,787(a)
3  £28,422
4  £29,319
5  £30,261
6  £31,122
7  £31,890
8  £32,913
9  £34,905
10  £35,610(b)

(a) All officers move to this salary point on completion of two years' service as a constable.
(b) Officers who have been on this point for a year will have access to the competence related threshold payment.

Sergeant's Salary
Starting from £35,610 on promotion and after 4 years in the rank you will achieve £40,020.

Inspector's Salary
Starting from £45,624 on promotion and rising to £49,488 after successful completion of 3 years in the rank.

Chief Inspector's Salary
Starting from £50,502 and rising to £52,578 after successful completion of 3 years in the rank.

Annual Leave entitlement:
Up to 2 years  -  22 days
On completion of 2 years  -  25 days
On completion of 10 years  -  27 days
On completion of 15 years  -  28 days
On completion of 19 years  -  30 days
