The ACPOS NIM Development Team was tasked with coordinating and developing good practice. The Team has constantly sought to identify and highlight good practice throughout  visits to the Scottish forces, the SCDEA, British Transport Police and a number of ACPO forces.

The good practice herein has been arranged in terms of the eleven business processes of the NIM. In the main they are intended to provide a guide or starting point with a view to further enquiry being made with the relevant force or agency.
